We'll set up a date for designing your perfect family portrait session. It's better to have a goal in mind prior to shooting. We want to make the perfect art to display in your home.

We'll help with outfit choices for your family portrait session. We aim to highlight your family's unique style while ensuring a cohesive overall look. We'll provide guidance on attire that complements and enhances the visual appeal of your portraits.

Expectations
We prioritize setting clear expectations for your family portrait session, ensuring alignment with your vision. Our commitment to meticulous planning underscores our dedication to meeting and exceeding your expectations.

Portrait date

Does the session fee include the digital files?
Yes, your session includes the Digital Files but we specialize in turning your photos into timeless family heirlooms. There's no replacement for the printed photograph to preserve your legacy for generations!
Where will my portrait session take place?
In stunning Northern Michigan, our on-location sessions capture the natural beauty as your backdrop. Choose from our secret spots or suggest your own – whether it's your home, vacation rental, or any cherished spot.
What should we wear?
Simple clothes and solid and muted colors work best for photographs. Think classic and not dated. Once you book with us you will gain access to our custom style guide but go ahead and view the images all over our website for more style ideas!
When will my photos be ready?
Your images will be available to view at your online print ordering session a few weeks after the portrait session. Final print orders will be ready within 2-4 weeks of ordering.
Will my photographs be retouched?
We archive your printed images for one year. After that, images are purged from our systems in order to make room for new clients. Your best form of archiving photos is to print them as soon as possible after your session.
Do you archive session image files?
Our basic editing process is very extensive and we strive to make all of the images you'll receive as perfect as possible. That being said, wrinkles, acne, stray hairs, or any other issues are able to be fixed for all printed images
What types of products do you offer?
We are a full-service photography studio that offers everything you can imagine. From loose Prints, to Framed Prints and Canvases and even Albums
How far in advance should we book our session?
We recommend booking as soon as you have a specific date in mind, as our availability fills up quickly. However, we are often able to accommodate last-minute appointments when possible.
What if the weather is bad?
Weather in northern Michigan is mostly perfect for photography, It can be unpredictable though. Rest assured, we closely monitor conditions and may make decisions on the session day or the day before based on the latest forecasts.
