This unforgettable summer wedding in Petoskey, Michigan, planned by A Day In May Events, was a thoughtfully curated three day celebration filled with intentional design and memorable experiences. The weekend began with an intimate rehearsal dinner on the shores of Walloon Lake, setting a relaxed and elegant tone for the events to follow.
The wedding ceremony and reception took place at Gypsy Distillery, where custom built structures and immersive design transformed the space into a one of a kind celebration. The ceremony was held in a light filled setting overlooking Little Traverse Bay, creating a stunning contrast to the reception that followed. Inside, guests were welcomed into a dark, moody atmosphere with dramatic lighting focused on each table, thoughtful speeches and first dances, an outstanding culinary experience, and a live band that felt more like a concert than a traditional reception. It was a bold, immersive wedding experience unlike any other!
