Lauren & Luke had the best Northern Michigan sunny weather for their Boyne Mountain Resort Wedding Photography! The day began with a beautiful ceremony at The Harborage Marina in Boyne City, MI followed by their wedding reception on Deer Lake at Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, MI.
The day started with nothing short of excitement that the wedding day had arrived! There were beautiful touches of blues and golds that accented all of the details throughout the day. This included attire, jewelry, and decor! The blues brought out the nautical theme with the ceremony taking place at The Harborage Marina.
The center of the marina has a beautiful grassy area making it an ideal ceremony location! With the arch up, flowers set, and a light breeze, Lauren & Luke read their vows. It was a perfect, sunny day for their outdoor lakeside ceremony.
After the ceremony, Lauren and Luke made their way to a Chris Craft boat waiting for them at the dock. Taking a boat ride is a fun twist to typical wedding traditions and fit with their theme perfectly! This unique idea makes for some awesome photos and allows for some time to soak in being husband and wife!
After celebrating with a boat ride on Lake Charlevoix and some bubbly, Lauren and Luke returned for photos with their bridal party! Utilizing the beautiful area, we were able to capture images on the beach, docks, and marina lawn. With portraits finished, it was time to head to the reception!
Walking over to the large white reception tent you could see that cocktail was well underway. Candles were being lit, drinks were being poured, and the bride and groom were showered with love from all of their guests! With Sarah Rhodes Boyce Weddings eye for detail, the reception came together with a light and airy feel! Warm tones of gold filled the wooden tables, along with white florals, and the menus had a touch of navy!
After guests found their seats in the beautiful reception tent, DJ Casey Rusch started announcing the bridal party! With excitement, all of the pairs made it to their seats and Lauren & Luke entered the reception with applause!
With the sun glowing over deer lake in the background the father of the bride, maid of honor, and best man made heartfelt speeches & toasts. Outside of the tent, you could hear the chatter and laughter as dinner was in service. After dinner, Lauren & Luke made their way to the incredible dessert display by Simply Sweet by Jessica to cut their cake! As the sun lowered in the sky, the first dances made way and finished just in time to sneak away for some beautiful golden hour portraits with the bride and groom!
From start to finish you could easily see all of the love surrounding this fun-loving couple!
