Marlie & Bobby’s Elberta Michigan Wedding Photography at the Elberta Life Saving Station made for a unique venue!
Marlie’s family has spent their summers vacationing in the Frankfort area. Both Marlie and Bobby knew that they wanted to host their wedding in this gorgeous area along Lake Michigan.
They had their wedding ceremony at St. Ann Catholic Church in Frankfort, Michigan. After the ceremony all of the wedding party hopped on a but and we made out what to different locations around the area! Our first stop was at a wooded location with beautiful greenery everywhere. We then made our way to the Point Betsie Lighthouse in Frankfort. If you haven’t been here before you should check it out! This beautiful area offers tours of the lighthouse and has miles of beautiful lakeshore for swimming, rock picking, or taking photos! The beautiful blue water of Lake Michigan made for an epic backdrop!
Once portraits were done we all headed to the Elberta Life Saving Station to join the cocktail party that was underway! With help from the talented Sincerely, Ginger Weddings & Events, they held a beautiful and relaxed event. There were tons of flowers, nautical touches, lanterns, candles, and warm lighting.
After heartfelt speeches, a delicious dinner, and first dances Marlie & Bobby snuck away to the sand dunes for sunset. The beautiful pink and orange tones lit up the sky allowing us to capture some memorable golden hour portraits during this romantic sunset.
If you’re getting married soon we would be thrilled to chat with you! Get in touch with us HERE!
