Leelanau Peninsula Wedding Photography of Anna & Will’s day started at the beautiful Homestead Resort in Glen Arbor, Michigan. The shores of Lake Michigan surround the resort and are in close proximity to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. After a heartfelt first look at the historic lakeshore, the day continued in the vineyards of Aurora Cellars! 

Their wedding was a perfect blend of beautifully designed details along with an abundance of heartfelt moments, laughter, tears of joy, and great reactions!

There were so many lovely details for this wedding and we have to give all the credit to the impeccable team of wedding vendors who contributed their expertise. With Juniper and Lace at the helm to pull it all together, there were semi-custom invitations from Ciarra Clare styled with stunning floral by The Day’s Design.

The beautiful ceremony took place under the iconic willow tree at Aurora Cellars. The beautiful space also has a classic farmhouse that really ties into the entire venue.

Delicious appetizers passed by Island Thyme Catering made certain that the guests were well taken care of during cocktail hour and the reception. With Aurora Cellars wine, Ludington Bay Brewing Co beer, Perrin Brewing Co beer, Signature cocktails will be Margaritas, and an Aperol Spritz, the guests were sure to not be thirsty!

Guest found their table assignment through a table filled with Cherry Republic sour gummies which is one of the bride’s favorite details.

Following some heartfelt toasts supplying plenty of laughs and tears and a delicious dinner a 10 piece Motown band from Detroit got the party started keeping the guests on the dance floor the entire evening!

During golden hour Anna & Will were able to sneak away for a few moments to enjoy the beautiful sunset and soak in the incredible day surrounded by close friends and family! The scenery and vineyards at Aurora Cellars made for some of the most lovely evening photographs. Any wedding photography taken on the Leelanau Peninsula is sure to create some incredible memories.
