Kari and Matthew wanted a small intimate wedding up North in Charlevoix, Michigan surrounded by their closest friends and family. They chose Applecore Cottage as their venue for its beautiful garden and patio, historic charm, and unique architecture as an Earl Young mushroom house. To complete the rustic feeling, they had a farm-to-table dinner catered by Blackbird Gardens. All of the beautiful flowers for the ceremony and reception were local wildflowers from Blackbird Gardens as well.
With such a small wedding, of only twenty guests, the attention to detail within this wedding was incredible. Kari wore a beautiful beaded gown and had a vibrant bouquet of fuchsia flowers. At the reception, yellow sunflowers were a colorful touch as they were featured in the centerpieces and cake decorations! Altogether, this Charlevoix wedding could not have been more special. Up north was the perfect place to celebrate such an amazing couple and this day was better than we could have ever imagined!
