Mackenzie & Chandlar’s Castle Farms Wedding took place on a beautiful fall day in Charlevoix, Michigan! The day was filled with dark green, gold, and white touches that accented the beautiful scenery at the venue.
From the bride “Chandlar and I have been together for eight years! We got engaged on October 20, 2018 on Mackinac Island. October has always been a huge part of our relationship. We started dating, got engaged, and will get married!”
The day started with the bride and groom getting ready at different locations with their closest friends! The excitement of the day was clear as portraits were taken and everyone got ready to gather at the Queen’s Courtyard at Castle Farms! As Chandlar stood at the front of the aisle waiting for his bride to appear a huge smile came across his face! I love capturing those special moments that happen so quickly! After the vows were exchanged and the first kiss was sealed we took some beautiful portraits around the Castle Farms grounds.
Castle Farms does an excellent job of maintaining beautiful, photogenic locations around the entire area! I gathered up the entire bridal party just outside the Queen’s Courtyard to take portraits highlighting the castle’s architecture in the background. Mackenzie, Chandlar, and I walked towards the Butterfly Garden after where I was able to utilize the incredible shrub archway for some beautiful portraits of this fun-loving couple!
The reception took place in the King’s Great Hall. The stunning room features candelabra chandeliers, original stone walls, fourteen-foot high cathedral windows, and balconies at each end of the Hall. I love the way the fall-inspired color theme correlated with this space! After thoughtful toasts were made, dinner was served, and the cake was cut these newlyweds enjoyed an evening with their closest friends and family!
